Acapulco Nights 11/2/13, Interview with Shokazoba

This week Western Massachusetts based afrobeat band Shokazoba came down to the station. They've recently been in the news after being canceled from a performance at Hampshire College in Amherst, MA, due to student protests over the band's mixed ethnicities. The group expresses their reactions to the discrimination. For the second hour Studebaker Hawk mixes funk, funky soul, and afrobeat.
