Acapulco Nights 3/13/15, Studebaker Hawk and JayMe, Live from Pomegranate at Oma in Hong Kong

Over the next few weeks we're bringing you excerpts from the great night we had in Hong Kong at Pomegranate. Pomegranate is every third Thursday of the month at Oma in Central, Hong Kong. Pomegranate residents LëKSs, Selekta Sève, and The Groove Thief present one of the most interesting nights in Hong Kong. Diving into genres typically overlooked in the Hong Kong scene, afrobeat, reggae, latin, funk, soul, and other wild stuff from around the world. On March 5, they invited out Studebaker Hawk and Hong Kong's own DJ Doctor DJ JayMe. Hour one is a segment of Studebaker Hawk's live set, spinning funk and latin leaning disco, with DJ JayMe taking over to mix funk, soul, and disco for hour two. Live from Hong Kong baby!
