Acapulco Nights 12/21/13, Studebaker Hawk Presents His Tribute to Frank Zappa

This week we do a tribute to the late Frank Zappa. Today would have been his 73rd birthday and December 4th of this year, was the 20th anniversary of his passing. Frank Zappa was an American musician, composer, guitarist, and film maker. He was one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century, and legendary for his wild performances. His first band, starting in the mid 60s, was The Mothers Of Invention. After the first run of Mothers records, the majority of his albums are all collages cut from live sets, with studio overdubs. Studebaker Hawk pulls out his favorites, interspersed with unreleased live takes.
